We had some killer weather on the recent weekend away at Birubi beach near Port Stephens.
Saturday was fun and Penelope got to have a surf on her body board, colours appropriately matched of course. At lunch the boys did a chariots of fire run up the beach where one Angus Nardi proved himself to be fitter than a horse and outran us all on the way home. After PharLap Nardi and crew had lunch we then drove on the beach up to a peak we spotted during the run for an afternoon surf. It looked like it was going to turn on, but didn't to everyone's mutual chargrin.
Overnight the weather kicked in and it became rotten outside and in the water. In the house however, Pete and Lara were snapping some killer shots of indi (below).
