As you may have noticed, Cam thinks he is growing fat with age (the broken foot hasn't helped). Well, he is trying to take us all down with him and is encouraging everyone to eat........Indigo is becoming an amazing eater. This is her enjoying some of the hotel buffet......And for the record, i think my husband is hot!!!
As most of you would know, we have just returned from the highly anticipated nuptials of Josh and Chantal in Cairns. It all happened at the beautiful Kewarra Beach Resort. It was excellent, even with Cam's broken foot. All 3 of The Excitables loved getting together with the extended family and having an extended stay and getting to know Chantals' family.
Now, it wouldn't be a wedding if The Excitables didn't hit the dance floor. The moves were somewhat restricted with Mr Excitables broken foot, but we still managed to have a 3 way cuddle and sway (unfortunately the genuine 1980's DJ didn't have The Cure, but did manage a bit of Love is In The Air).
Indigo got very tired from all the action so Cam took her back to our little hut where they bunkered down for the night and I returned to the dance floor with the enthusiasm of a stay at home Mum who hasn't seen a dance floor for months!!! I had great dance partners, who like me, were genetically blessed with great moves on the dance floor. All 5 of us (Tim, Josh, Jack, Sam and I) broke out our well practiced family routines. Song/dance of the night has to go to the bride and groom, Beyond the Sea.
Georgie, you may tie for wedding of the year.........hopefully the smallest Excitable will not be hitting your dance floor, Mr and Mrs Excitable may have a night out alone!!!
The Excitables have once again come home from a holiday with a broken bone. Indigo is well and truly on the move and scaled the pillow wall on the bed and decided to "rocket girl" to the floor all alone. Cam spotted her mid air and dove to get her. With his undeniable strength and force, pushed off the floor and broke a bone in his foot. So we spent the eve of Josh and Chantal's wedding in Cairns Accident and Emergency, and of course had a camera handy to catch the moment. This is Indi and Cam waiting to see the doctor watching Wiggles on the ipod.
As a regular to Curl Curl we didn't expect Indi to be so shocked at the sight of real penguins, so I think the brazen hustle and bustle of the NY penguins at the Zoo in Central Park caught her off guard.
We went with Yas and Magnus, Nina and Bianca and had a great time until the NY weather spun 180 and started to cough and splutter. Hi to Yas and Magnus. Hope the US summer is making up for the bleariness of the winter.
When we stopped in to Dubai we had the opportunity to go for a scream around a toy shop on an electric skateboard. Excellent fun. Santa - are you watching?
