On Queen's Birthday Monday we left the comfortable digs of Balmoral and took Indi on an eye opening journey of the inner west. We went to a cafe and record store and saw some different folks. New experiences greeted her at every corner.
Here, Indi finds a postcard promoting a show you would not see in Mosman...Holding the Man. Indi is amazed, and P explains that life is not all mansions and range rovers and 'holding the man' that is what some people do over here.

On our surf weekend away in Bendalong, we got to know this possum and two of his mates pretty well. Pete threw on the old time lapse setting for this one (similar to the blur of bugs on the windscreen of the car from using the wipers, making it look like a time lapse photo of the stars...had to be there for that one.)

Surfing in Balmoral

The big East Coast Low which descended on Sydney on Friday produced peak waves of 17 metres on the Sydney Wave Rider buouy. This allowed waves to sneak into the strangest places, including our home beach of balmoral. We checked it out a few times and decided to have a splash around lunch time on Saturday.
