Father's Day came early

Father's day came earlier at the Excitables. P is going to see the newly hatched Georgia Schwarz in Townsville this weekend so I got my present early. First was this excellent canvas which P had blown up from a photo taken by Gus. Nice work Gus. Thanks very much P. I love it.

Then, on Saturday afternoon and after some early morning vomits, I was able to take the hippo out on to the pavement and get indi mobile.

Lastly, I was given a special book chock full of photos of indi. Thanks girls.

did you confirm it was gus that took the photo? I definately remember gus piking it on one surf and taking pics while we were out there - but i took some aswell...... mmmmm.... definately looks like a strong "rule of thirds" composition....

Gus? whats your take? can you definately remember taking this?

I remember it being Gus for two reasons (although I am very apologetic if it was you Pete!)

    1. I remember coming in and Gus was amped about it.
    2. The chronological photo order on the CD has Pete in the water gettting snapped in some tubes either side of this photo so I was guessing that this pic was Gus.

Either way, some great shots were taken that day by both lensmen.

Makes me pumped to get away again. the colour of the water is amazing. You should come check out the screen at our house. it rocks.

The next poll that we run on the site will ask the eternal question:
Who is faster over 100 metres - Pete or Gus?
